2023 Hank Aaron Award Winners Announced
Acuña, Ohtani Claim Prestigious Honor
The 2023 Hank Aaron Award winners have been revealed, with Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels earning the honor as the best overall offensive performers in the National and American Leagues, respectively.
Historic Award
The Hank Aaron Award was established in 1999 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Hank Aaron breaking Babe Ruth's all-time home run record. It is voted on by fans and a panel of experts.
Previous Winners
Acuña and Ohtani join an illustrious list of previous winners, including Manny Ramirez, Sammy Sosa, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Mike Trout. The most recent winners were Ohtani and Acuña Jr. in 2021.
